Frequently Asked Questions
What are your age policies for guests?
All guests must be at least 25 years of age at the time the stay begins or be accompanied by an approved parent or guardian. IDs may be requested.
Does occupancy only include overnight guests?
No. The maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded at any time during your stay. Parties are not allowed in or on the rented property under any circumstances.
What is your policy for hurricanes?
If a mandatory evacuation is ordered by a governmental agency, refunds (minus a 7% cancellation fee) will be prorated based on the nights of your stay covered by the order. Only the nights specifically covered by the mandatory evacuation are eligible for a refund. If a hurricane occurs prior to arrival and accommodations cannot be provided, refunds will be issued to the reservation holder.
Do you allow smoking?
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all properties. This includes vaping and all other forms of inhaled substances. Some properties also prohibit smoking anywhere on the premises, including decks.
What is the damage waiver?
The accidental damage waiver covers up to $1,500 of accidental damage per stay. All damage must be reported to our office prior to departure to be covered. Intentional acts or deliberate violations of policy are not covered. If damage is not reported prior to departure, the waiver is void. The waiver is non-refundable.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. If you intend to arrive early, you may request Expedited Cleaning for a fee. With Wi‑Fi locks, there are no keys and no need to visit the office.
Check-out is at 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Please vacate the home and all parking spaces by 10:00 AM. If you need a later checkout, contact our office about a late expedited cleaning for a fee. Before departing, please load and start the dishwasher (if available), remove all food items, and place trash in exterior containers.
What is parking like on Folly?
Some units include parking. When parking on the street anywhere on Folly Beach, your vehicle must face the flow of traffic and all four tires must be off the pavement.
